Privacy Policy

We collect four kinds of information, and nothing beyond what the product needs to work.

• Account details — your name, email address and profile picture, passed to us by our sign-in provider when you create an account. We never see or store your password.
• Content you create — the designs, videos, images and text you make or upload, along with the prompts you write. This is stored so you can come back to it.
• Billing records — which plan you are on, your payment and order identifiers, and your credit history. Card numbers are handled entirely by our payment gateway and never reach our servers.
• Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, and which pages and features you used. Used to keep the service running and to find faults.

• To run the service — save your work, apply your plan's limits, and keep your credit balance correct.
• To process payments and send you receipts, renewal notices and account emails.
• To generate what you ask for, which means sending your prompt and any input media to the AI provider that serves that model.
• To answer your support messages.
• To find and fix bugs, to monitor abuse, and to understand which features are worth building on.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not rent it. We do not hand your account details, your content or your prompts to advertisers.

Generating an image, a video or a block of text means sending your prompt — and any image you attached to it — to the model provider you selected. Those providers process it on their own infrastructure under their own terms.

We pass only what the generation needs: the prompt, the input media, and the model settings. Your name, email and billing details are never included.

Which providers are involved depends on the model you pick; the model list in each studio names its provider.

This policy covers what we do with your data. Who owns what the models produce is a different question, answered in section 6 of the Terms of Service and in the AI Usage Policy.

We do not use your Inputs or Output to train models of our own. We do not have any.

Only the vendors that make the product function, and our advertising partner, each limited to what their job requires:

Advertising. We show ads through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

• You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
• How Google uses information from sites that use its services is explained at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
• Where the law requires consent before advertising cookies are set, we ask for it first and you can change your choice at any time.

We also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to investigate fraud, abuse or a threat to someone's safety.

• Your content stays until you delete it, or until 90 days after you close your account. The one exception is Content Studio history on the Free plan, which is kept for 7 days — counted from when a generation was made, or from when you last changed plan if that is later — and then deleted automatically. Every paid plan keeps it for as long as you stay on one.
• Your account record is kept while the account is open.
• Billing and tax records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires, which is longer than the account itself. These cannot be deleted on request.
• Technical logs are kept for up to 12 months.
• Copies held by an AI provider are outside our systems. Deleting an Input or its Output here removes it from our storage; it does not reach into a provider's logs, which are governed by that provider's retention policy.

You can ask us to do any of the following, and we will act on it within 30 days:

• Give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete your account and the content in it.
• Stop sending you non-essential email.
• Explain how a particular piece of your data was used.

Delete most content yourself from the dashboard. For anything else, email us and say what you want done.

• All traffic to and from the site is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
• Your data is isolated at the database level, so one account's rows are unreachable from another account's session.
• Payment credentials never touch our servers — they go directly to the gateway.
• Access to production systems is limited to the people who need it.

• You must be 13 or older to have an account. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone younger. If we learn that a child under 13 has an account, we close it and delete its data.
• If you are 13 to 17, you may use Editing Karo only with the agreement of a parent or guardian, as the Terms of Service explain. India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 treats everyone under 18 as a child, so we rely on that parent's or guardian's consent to process your data.
• We process a teenager's data only to run the service they signed up for. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it or share it with advertisers.
• Purchases need an adult. Paid plans and credit top-ups must be bought by a parent or guardian.
• Creator Awards: entrants aged 13 to 17 confirm their parent's or guardian's agreement when they enter, and any cash prize is paid to the parent's or guardian's own bank account or UPI ID, under their PAN.

Ads on our public pages are served by Google using its own cookies (see section 4); we do not pass Google any account details. A parent can turn off personalised ads on a young person's device in Google Ads Settings.

A parent or guardian can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete their child's data, or to close the account — write to us using the details below.

When this policy changes we update the date at the top of the page. If a change materially affects your rights, we will email you before it takes effect.
