Terms of Service

Editing Karo is an online creative platform made up of four studios:

• Pixel Studio — a design canvas for graphics, posts, thumbnails and print pieces.
• Motion Studio — a video editor with timeline editing, subtitles and export.
• Vision Studio — AI image and video generation across a catalogue of models.
• Content Studio — AI writing tools for captions, scripts, titles and ad copy.

We add, change and retire features as the product develops. We will not remove a major capability your paid plan depends on without telling you first.

• You must be at least 13 years old to hold an account.
• If you are 13 to 17, you may only use Editing Karo with the agreement of a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for how you use the service. By creating an account you confirm that agreement.
• Paid plans and credit top-ups can only be bought by an adult. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must make the purchase.
• One account is for one person. Sharing credentials so several people can draw on one plan's credits is not permitted.
• You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, so keep your sign-in secure and tell us immediately if you think it has been compromised.
• The details you give us must be accurate and kept up to date.

We need a narrow licence to run the product: permission to store, copy, resize and display your content so that we can show it back to you, render your exports, and send your prompts to the model you chose. That licence exists only to operate the service and ends when you delete the content.

We will not use your private designs in our marketing without asking you first.

Material you put into an AI feature, and what the feature gives back, are dealt with separately in section 6. Those two things have defined names throughout these terms:

Input

Everything you submit to an AI feature — your prompts and settings, plus any image, video, audio or text you attach to them.

Output

Everything an AI feature returns in response to your Input — generated images, video, audio and text, including edited versions of media you supplied.

There are things you may not do with the platform — from generating illegal material to scraping the service or reselling credits. Those rules are set out in full in the Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms.

• Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel.
• Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Every AI generation, render and premium export costs credits. Your plan grants credits monthly; you can buy more at any time.
• All payments are final — we don't offer refunds once a payment is made. You can cancel any time to stop future charges.

This section sets out who owns what the AI features produce. It uses Input and Output as defined in section 3.

6.7 Your Input is your responsibility. You represent and warrant that:

• You must own your Input, or otherwise hold all rights and permissions needed to submit it to us and to have it processed by a third-party AI provider.
• You must not submit an Input containing material you do not have the rights to — including copyrighted images, footage, music, fonts or text belonging to someone else.
• You must not submit an Input depicting an identifiable person without the consent required by the law that applies to you.
• You remain responsible for your Input and for any Output you choose to use, publish or rely on.
• Rights in your Input stay with you. Submitting it grants us only the narrow licence needed to operate the service.

6.8 Output quality. AI models are probabilistic. They produce material that is inaccurate, derivative or simply wrong, they misspell text inside images, and identical Inputs do not reliably produce identical Output. Reviewing Output before you publish or rely on it is your responsibility, not ours.

6.9 Provider terms apply too. Each model is operated by a third-party provider on its own terms, which may restrict how its Output can be used. Selecting a model means accepting that provider's terms for that generation, and where they are stricter than ours, theirs govern that Output.

6.10 Credits. Credits are consumed when a generation runs, whether or not you like the result. See the Credits Policy.

6.11 Survival. Rights you have in Output lawfully generated before your account ends are not affected by that ending — with one exception: we may require you to stop using Output that breaches the Acceptable Use Policy or infringes a third party.

The practical guidance behind all of this is in the AI Usage Policy, which forms part of these terms.

We work to keep the service running, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, provider outages and faults happen. Where an outage prevents a generation from completing, the credits for it are returned to your balance.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, that is used fraudulently, or that puts other users or the platform at risk. Where the breach is serious — illegal content, or a payment made with a stolen card — we may act without notice.

You can close your account at any time from the dashboard. Closing it does not entitle you to a refund.

9.1 The service is provided as-is. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data or lost business opportunity.

9.2 Without limiting section 6, we are not liable for any claim arising from your use of Output — including a claim that Output infringes a third party's rights, that it is not protectable, or that it is not unique.

9.3 Where we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

9.4 Responsibility for your own conduct. If someone brings a claim against us because of your Input, because of how you used or published Output, or because you broke these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, that claim is your responsibility and you agree to reimburse what it directly costs us.

That responsibility is bounded, and these limits apply in every case:

• It covers only amounts actually awarded by a court or tribunal, or agreed in a settlement you approved, plus reasonable legal costs directly incurred. It is not an open-ended obligation.
• It does not apply to any part of a claim caused by our own breach, negligence or unlawful act, or by something we did that you did not ask for.
• It does not override any right you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived by agreement. Where such a law limits or excludes this clause, that law wins.
• We will tell you about the claim promptly, will not settle it without your written agreement, and will hand you the defence if you want to run it yourself.
• If we fail to tell you in time and that failure makes the claim worse, you are not responsible for the part it made worse.

9.5 Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing in this section affects rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the product before they take effect, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Delhi, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
